लगभग चौदह वर्ष पहले ,
उनसे परिचय हुआ ।
देश की सीमा पर ,
वे तैनात थे –
सुरक्षा बल के रूप में ।
दो देशों के युद्ध में ,
कईयों की ,
असामयिक मृत्यु हुई ।
युद्ध के बाद –
तीन दिनों तक फंसे थे ,
बर्फ के बीच में ,
उन्हें ढूंढ़ा गया ।
परंतु समस्याओं ने शरीर में ,
कर लिया , घर ,
औषधियोंके सहारे जीवन ।
उनसे मुलाकात हुई थी ,
उनसे मिलने जाना था ।
वो चलने में असमर्थ थे ,
फिर भी एक भरोसा था –
उनके होने का ,
मन में संतोष था ।
उनकी मृत्यु हो गई ,
मिलने की आशा अधूरी रह गई ।
स्वयं को समझाया –
अनिश्चित अंत निश्चित है ।
यहाँ अपना और बेगाना है ,
मौत का अंजान ठिकाना है ।
